TRAVEL HEALS Ep-01

Day 0

A mini trip got planned with my family. Packing up the essentials felt like as if never done before. Apparently the Covid-19 made me forgot to what to pack on a mini vacay.

The level of excitement didn’t feel real hard. Of course, excitement was there but in a casual way.

All what I had in my head was just to relax and lighten my mind.

Day 1

Waking up early on a foggy morning is tough. The blanket didn’t want me to leave it and my bed wasn’t ready for a goodbye. Still I managed to leave my home for 3 days. We beginned with the trip.

The first destination was Shreenath Ji Temple in Nathdwara. Quite a heavy breakfast satisfied me with all the heat in a winter month.

We left the place to go to Udaipur for the most fun-filled activity I planned- Snow Park in Celebration Mall situated in Udaipur. My hard luck! Snow Park had permanently shut down. Nevertheless, a hot muddy cup having delicious coffee just outside the front gate of the mall made me feel delighted. After the first sip, a sigh of relief covered my face. What a feeling for a coffee person to get such a coffee at a low cost.

After so many hours of traveling, we reached a sacred place- Pavapuri. This place is like a huge temple with good simple food, comfortable space, beautiful scenery and many more. Every corner of that place was filled with positivity and tranquillity. Although it had some strict guidelines regarding the timings of eating and food without garlic and onion (commonly known as Jain Food); the beauty and the simplicity of that place was a treat for my eyes and a wonderful feeling mixed with happiness, calmness, positivity, relief. The Art gallery situated there displayed gallons of talent in the field of art. The thinking and hard work behind each art touched my heart deeply.

Day 2

Started off the day with a morning walk exploring the sacred property. The chilled wind was pampering my body and the silence with the only sound of birds chirping pampered my soul.

Not being a morning person at all, it was all worth it to wake up early on a chilled foggy morning.

After some photo sessions which are must and post breakfast we bid adieu to that beautiful place and promised to visit it once again.

We adjusted ourselves in the car and left for Mt. Abu, the place I was really thrilled to go. Unfortunately, it didn’t meet my expectations anywhere close to. It was so hot there throughout the day. We climbed the stairs up to a good height for a great view of Guru Shikhar.

Finding a good hotel was an obstacle, prices were as high as sky with facilities as low as the ground. We ended up staying at a place inside the temple which offered us a worthy sunset view from the terrace.

Finally it got cold there and we went to explore the town. The lightings made the Nakki Lake look quite decent instead of the green colour-water in the lake due to algae.

I did water zorbing and my wrists were screaming out of pain and in day time too I did zip line in not so adventurous park.

Out of nowhere I saw the game of virtual reality and it was amazing. The 11 D cinema was a failure. Pizzas at the Pizza Crust compensated it.

Day 3

It was really cold. We left for Ambaji, Gujarat and we sat on a ropeway and felt excited.

Once again we went to Udaipur and this time to explore it and for that coffee too. We went to Saheliyon ki Baari. It was nice to see such greenery and the photo session was amazing too. We took a boat ride at Lake Pichola and that experience for me is a once in a lifetime memory. The lake water was so fresh. The view was breath-taking. It was so calming and refreshing. At once, I felt it so hard, Damn! Life is beautiful. Seriously this is a rare feeling for me.

We went to EklingJi which marked the end of this awesome trip on a spiritual note.

Right now after writing this, I feel so warm inside. I am so grateful that this trip happened.

MANKIND TOWARDS MEN

Everybody in this universe deserves a feeling of love and respect.

We always talk about respect towards women, towards nature, towards children, etc. but what about men? Aren’t they a huge part of our lives?

Of course they are. Then why we always keep blaming them for every single mishappening in the society.

“One rotten apple spoils the barrel”.

But that’s not the case of each basket.

When it comes to the cask of people, surely that one rotten apple cannot have enough influence to spoil the barrel until it’s a bunch of big-headed fools.

Only because of a part consisting of the spoilt men, we can’t slur the whole of male community.

Men have really been causes to a lot of problems but isn’t this a prevailing reality since the time Earth got its survivors? We have been taught mostly about the male figures, we have been living itself in a patriarchal society.

We are the only ones who have till now interpreted the same about men being superior of all.

A very common instance in this aspect is that whenever we see a woman driver of auto-rickshaw, we often feel proud and we also feel a part of developed/developing society.

We feel so because this is something uncommon to our eyes.

This example clearly proves that most of us have this mentality of superiority and inferiority that make us feel so in such situations.

Let us accept the fact that we all want Equality. At the same time we don’t want to degrade anyone in general, men in specific.

Let’s practice what we preach and keep the focus on improving the conditions so that in the upcoming years, equality and only equality prevails. Nothing in reference to superiority and inferiority must exist.

Men too are humans and they too deserve all the love and respect.

“Not everything is trash; similarly not everything is a gem.

Keeping the Trash aside, value the Gems.

Value our MEN.”

To be loved...

They say Love is beautiful

How would I know?

who is trying to be cool.

Love is everything

my heart can’t feel anything.

The brain doesn’t allow the heart to rule

as the World consists of money-minded fools.

How wonderful it must be to Love and to be Loved

Well! I haven’t experienced

To be Loved is just a dream

a dream for the one who has dedicated

the mind and soul in desire to be loved

The Heart got all bluffed

There is no hope left in the blood

Still I want to be loved…

New Year for the New Beginnings?

It’s again the New Year time.

Time to welcome the new journeys of life

Time to forget the past

Its forgiveness’ time

Its happiness’ time

In my opinion, it’s the only festival in which people celebrate time, the moment when the clock strikes twelve on the chilled night of 31st December every year.

Everyone irrespective of any caste, gender, or any kind of divisions holds and celebrates the excitement of the New Year.

1st January has surely got the maximum power in changing people’s perspective towards a positive direction.

Usually at the end of a year, people tend to forget and forgive all their sorrows and are adamant enough to move on with great joys filled in their hearts.

New Year is indeed a great opportunity but to refresh a page why we have to procrastinate it when we could have already refreshed it earlier?

“Refresh a Page” here refers to the New Beginning.

Why to wait for New Year to come when new beginning can be initiated at any moment?

All what is required to refresh a page is to delete the wrong and continue with the rest.

Similarly, new beginnings require deleting the trials and tribulations we have faced and continue with what we have to achieve what we can have.

The feeling of Forgiveness is the key.

What actually stay in our hearts are the mistakes committed by our closed ones or the bad moments with those closed people. After sometime the people only stays in reference to those bad memories.

To forgive them and to even forgive ourselves is highly needed to move on.

Forgiveness and Acceptance from the heart makes it a smooth way.

This is what new beginnings is all about.

Let’s celebrate each day as New Beginning day,

The dawn of the day is after all the ‘Beginning’.

Always be ready for the new journeys. We never know what life surprises us with!

Accepting to Forgetting to Forgiving to Beginning to a Happy Ending.

THE STIGMA OF PERIODS

Periods, a natural procedure of a woman’s body is yet considered so impure. People in 21st century still have this orthodox thinking regarding the menstruation commonly known as periods. Women are put to so many restrictions, often they are ill-treated.

Society has affected the minds of people in such a negative manner that people feel shy to talk about this topic. They don’t want to discuss it even in personal.

People need to understand the reason of the menstrual cycle. In brief, it is the purest blood of the body which is used to feed the child inside the womb and if the woman is not pregnant, the nutritious blood along with the white precipitate break and that leads to menstruation.

On one hand we celebrate the birth of a child who is covered with this pure blood. On the other hand, we disrespect this in periods time by claiming it to be impure.

It’s high time to get rid of this poor mentality. It affects so many women around the globe. They have to quit their education, their work and they feel that they themselves are polluted and dirty.
